UFC 310 Recap: Alexandre Pantoja Reigns Supreme

In the co-main event, Shavkat Rakhmonov put his No. 1 contender spot in the welterweight division on the line against Ian Machado Garry. Rakhmonov was initially set to challenge the UFC titleholder Belal Muhammad, but Muhammad withdrew due to injury.

Alexandre Pantoja erased any doubts about his status as the top flyweight by successfully defending his title with a slick second-round submission against Kai Asakura. Pantoja improved his record to 29-5 and extended his winning streak to seven.

Co-Main Event Battle

Shavkat Rakhmonov maintained his unbeaten streak, defeating Ian Machado Garry after a grueling five-round battle. Rakhmonov’s performance kept him at the top of the welterweight division.
