Key Figure and Grand Slam Champion in TNA (2002-2013)
AJ Styles has recently shown interest in making a one-off return to TNA Wrestling. Speaking on the “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast, Styles said, “I don’t know. I’d like to. I think it’d be fun to do something like that, like a one-off. I would definitely do it.” Despite his enthusiasm, Styles is uncertain if this will become a reality.
Styles on Vince McMahon’s and Triple H’s Viewing Habits
Styles commented on Vince McMahon’s viewing habits, saying, “He [Vince] never watched any matches outside of WWE because nothing else existed except for WWE. I guarantee you, once he’s rolling and it’s WWE, he watched nothing else. But it feels like Triple H watches everything. He had a better idea of who guys and girls were and bringing them in. That’s what we need.”
He emphasized the importance of giving opportunities to wrestlers from smaller promotions, as it benefits both WWE and those promotions.
AJ Styles on Leaving New Japan
Styles also spoke about his departure from New Japan: “I left New Japan, which I thought so much of. I really loved that place because I was coming home and the opportunity to make more money was there. People will always go for better opportunities.”
